Built in 1993, the Mediterranean-style abode — designed and renovated by architect Grant Kirkpatrick — features 6 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms spread across 17,630 square feet of space and two structures. Believe it or not, Johnson started out as a college football player at the University of Miami and aspired to play it professionally. When that didn’t pan out, he turned to the world of wrestling. That stretch of games is going to say a lot about how everyone feels about the season. Go 3-1 or 4-0, then people will be pretty happy about where things stand with Freeman in year two. Do worse than that and most will be reacting like they are now with recruiting.

But our favorite out of all of Dwayne Johnson’s houses is the massive 46-acre equestrian estate he owns in Powder Springs, Georgia. The Rock’s farm in Virginia is where he trained for his DC Universe debut as Black Adam, and where he’s proudly raising his stock of fish — including trout, carp, and sunfish. When they’re not in California, the family often spends time on the former pro wrestler’s sprawling farm in Virginia, which he’s dubbed Mana Farms. It also gives fans the chance to take a closer look at what the interiors of his home are like. Adding to the Mediterranean vibe are a series of ivy archways, an eye-catching red-tiled roof, airy balconies, and covered loggias. There are also many gates for easy access in and out of the property.

The embodiment of NDNation's pretension is "Cartier Field," a discussion board they built so a poster could earn his way into the "real" discussion. If you have an opinion not in line with theirs, watch out! They'll make you think they're experts because they have more conviction than the average preacher, but eventually, the negativity will overwhelm you. Most notoriously, you'll get to know ACross, a babbling fool whose anger spews all over "Rock's House."

Domerdomain is my absolute favorite Notre Dame board on the Internet. Click "Forum" to enter the discussion boards, where you will find everything you need to know about the Irish football team in "General Discussion" and "Recruiting." Free message boards are everywhere, so there is no need to pay for information you can glean from fellow Irish fans and alums elsewhere. Kid Rock’s mansion boasts an impressive 27,000 square feet of space. Drawing inspiration from the iconic White House, this palatial creation exudes a certain understated charm that echoes the soul of Nashville, Tennessee.

After that, the question will be if they can get more from an interior pass rusher. Howard Cross was at 12.7% last year, which doesn’t make it seem like he will be that guy, but Sheldon Day went from 11.7% in 2014 to 21.6% in 2015. It’s not unprecedented and hopefully Cross isn’t playing on one ankle for a good chunk of the season. The biggest reason is that Jordan Botelho (30.8% in limited pass rush attempts) is going to have the same size role that he had in the Gator Bowl when he finished with two sacks and 10 pressures. To me, he is a lock to have a monster season rushing the passer. Even Foskey, who was terrific at getting passers on the ground, wasn’t consistently dominant in terms of getting pressure on the quarterback.
A twenty-person hot tub resembling a mine, a walk-in shower lavishly coated in gold, and an unconventional transformation of an old church into a horse stable serve as just a few examples of Kid Rock’s unique touch. The property is more than just a house; it’s an expression of his artistic and creative soul, an embodiment of his music’s energy and individuality. Notre Dame needs to be in the conversation as a CFP team this fall. They need to be building something even if they aren’t ready to make that big leap yet. Duke returns almost all of their production on offense and that’s the kind of game that could end up being a noon kick after a tough night game the week before.
Rudolph believes the competition will sort itself out soon as the Irish will start its second week of camp on Wednesday, which is important as Notre Dame attempts to build cohesion before the season opener against Navy. Notre Dame needs to find two starting guards and live game reps are hard to come by at the position. Secondly, you can watch the game and make your own conclusions about the Irish. First, every press conference with Charlie Weis or Mike Brey is published on the Internet at Notre Dame's Web site, with questions and answers from every reporter at the press conference.
They have 39 new players on their roster and no one knows how good they’ll be. Then there is Javontae Jean-Baptiste, who was at 20.4% last season at Ohio State. He’ll have more opportunities to produce pressure with Notre Dame and should be a candidate to have a breakout season in the eyes of NFL scouts.
Bleacher Report isn't just another news site, but a place where fans can articulate the arguments and insights found within the discussion forums. As a visitor to all of these sites, I give irishenvy the same rave reviews that I give domerdomain. While I prefer domerdomain, I certainly enjoy irishenvy for the same substance and sense of respect it offers is posters and all Notre Dame fans. You shouldn't go to a site that requires a payment, because there are plenty of free boards out there that make their money the right way—through advertisements. The ultra-private estate is made up of several gates for easy access in and out of the property. He also had a fancy house in Malibu with a pool, gym, and 5 bedrooms.
The talent they had on that side of the ball was a lot better than 17th. Athletes actually having to go to class and earn their degrees is something that is highlighted in a positive way by Notre Dame. I don’t see how Notre Dame freshman football players having to live in dorms with a roommate that is not a football player is something that helps them in recruiting. Kareem and Okwara both flashed as pass rushers in year two after barely playing as freshmen. Burnham’s and Tuihalamaka’s development should be fun to watch this fall. Graduate student Andrew Kristofic return the most experience as he’s made eight starts, including the season-opener a year ago at Ohio State as he filled in for the injured Jarrett Patterson.
The Irish defense held opposing passers to the sixth and fifth lowest passer rating those seasons. On top of that, they had multiple pass rushers who were good to great at generating pressure. Even for some who turn out great, there can be growing pains in their first year. Look at what happened at Clemson with Brandon Streeter, who was one and done as a coordinator there. First time defensive coordinator Wes Goodwin kept his job after one year and he may turn out to be a great hire, but their defense dipped to 17th in DF+, which was their lowest ranking since 2013.
The young guys like Billy, Rocco and Aamil (Wagner) are all getting looks. Each day has been good to see them get out there and compete. Correll has also noticed the competition levels rise next to him and that’s the goal. He must have incriminating photos of board ops over there, because they’ve seemed cowed by him all along.
I gave up on that board more than a decade ago primarily because of him. There are a bunch of asshats over there, but he’s the worst . Both have powerful, respectful, and knowledgeable posters who can really offer most of the insight you would ever need about Irish. Additionally, their moderators, like the legendary Sir John, do a great job of cleaning up filth and maintaining peace among posters without limiting dissenting opinions. They're in bed with Mike Frank at Irisheyes, so they have an agreement to monitor the board for any recruiting information that could cut into Frank's business. Apparently, he thinks you can have an informational monopoly on a 16 or 17-year-old's life.
The Rock’s house is set in Beverly Park, Los Angeles’ most exclusive neighborhood, home to countless A-listers. The ultra-exclusive enclave is home to some of the richest stars alive and is governed by an HOA with very hefty fees ($3,300/month). The house sits on 3.67 acres of land and is considered to be among the largest (and most private) properties in the neighborhood. Dwayne Johnson lives in a beautiful $27.8 million mansion in Los Angeles’ exclusive Beverly Park neighborhood, along with his wife Lauren Hashian, and their adorable kids. In case you’ve ever wondered about his wrestling persona, The Rock’s backstory is that he’s an executive chef who specializes in Croquembouche (so that’s what he was cooking).
The property has a colossal 18,000 square feet of living space spread across the main mansion as well as the detached 2,500-square-foot guesthouse. The situation is pretty close to ideal for Brian Hartline in his first year calling plays at Ohio State as well. He has a loaded wide receiver room, a fantastic duo in the backfield, and an All-American candidate at guard. The talent he’s inheriting would make just any coordinator envious. Changing this wouldn’t turn Notre Dame into a football factory.
It might help them with recruiting players who would no longer have to put the living situation in the con category when comparing programs. The other two are Josh Burnham and Junior Tuihalamaka, who will be battling it out to play behind Botelho at Vyper this fall. That additional pass rusher role on 3rd downs should be up for grabs with Liufau and them as the primary contenders.
